I think that'd be a good time. Never seen the Mistress live.
Just d/l her Essential mix (2002). There's some strange mix in around 74:00 ish that sounds a lot like Chemical Brothers Out of Control (the bassline), but it doesn't show in the tracklisting. Any ideas? |

But I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was a pretty fun party saturday night as well.
I've yet to meet anyone who went to Boa and didn't get blown away, I'm still awed by it every saturday. |

My original skepticism about Boa arose from the fact that the first group of big DJs that came in were all house or prog...not my thing.
However, I knew once I saw Mark Falco on the bill that my mind would change. Mark never ever disappoints; he's one of my favorites, despite being a purely circuit DJ. (although I know he has a soft spot for techno.)
The sound there is the best in the city. I don't know how anyone can argue that. Exhausted, we couldn't tear ourselves away from that sound. It's incredible how one record can sound so crisp and so clear...and I can leave without my ears ringing. (unlike after a night at system.) |

i'll def. be there for MB. And i know this is a bit off topic but i don't know why some people come onto threads about gett'n a dj here and start sh#t kuz u don't like'm, (alec). If thats the case, start a thread bout not like'n MB...why bash skipper's?
Anyways, would love to see MB, never have yet. |
