Downfall threads' downfall

First I must say...the original thread was genius. Loved the poster's original attention to detail. However these threads are getting out of hand (and I'm adding to them). Now let's look at the recent threads vs. the old. Anyone miss the discussions we had in the Paul Van Dyk thread? Or the Armin thread? Who misses the original threads whose starters put effort into their writings?
Quite frankly let's analyze the recent topics...sure they were great at first but the slew of new threads has gone into the sewer.
Original (PvD) thread
Second (AvB) thread
Third (Tiesto) thread
Fourth (TA downfall) thread
Fifth (DJ Sammy) thread
And finally this thread.
The threads of old will never be surpassed by the lackluster efforts of the threads of today. Honestly...threads like the Tiesto, TA, and Sammy thread look like they were rushed and quikly put together.
With the surplus of downfall threads in the scene maybe we should just stick to something else.
And for anyone who doesn't realize it, this entire post was written in parody of the original PvD thread...at least within the writing style. |
