For DSL and cable modem, there's ZoneAlarm, etc.
But I have a dial-up connection, how can I monitor what's being sent out from my computer, and regulate it? Thanks. |

Who/whatever told you ZoneAlarm is only meant for cable/dsl was wrong.
Any firewall app should work for a PPP dialup the same way it should for an eithernet-based connection. All a firewall does is monitor the IP traffic, nothing more.
I can confirm this 'cause I know people who've run apps like zonealarm on dialup connection. it works fine for them. |
