A Firewall Analogue for Dial-Up Connection?

For DSL and cable modem, there's ZoneAlarm, etc.

But I have a dial-up connection, how can I monitor what's being sent out from my computer, and regulate it? Thanks.

Any Firewall will do man ZoneAlarm is good but i recommend black ice defender its really good an you can manage all incomming and outgoing connections

venomX, it says that it'll only work for DSL and cable, I got 56K dial-up, man...

Who/whatever told you ZoneAlarm is only meant for cable/dsl was wrong.

Any firewall app should work for a PPP dialup the same way it should for an eithernet-based connection. All a firewall does is monitor the IP traffic, nothing more.

I can confirm this 'cause I know people who've run apps like zonealarm on dialup connection. it works fine for them.

thanks a lot
