im interested on how the script would work though. Usually polls like this, you get to choose more than one when you are voting. Could that be done? |

| Real as far as I know it. The website it's from is usually quite reliable, and if pics are fake they are stated as such. |

I say each person chooses 10 of their favs, and ranks them 1 to 10 (1 = fittest). Whoever gets the most votes wins. If two chicks get the same number of votes, add up where abouts in everyones list she came (e.g. 1st in the list = 10 points, 10th in the list = 1 point) and whoever has the most points is higher up in the list. Or you could just make it a joint place. Whatever. :)

eh, my opinion is:
Since we pretty much are already going to have a list, the point of the poll is who is hotter than the other, not who are the top 100 hottest like the maxim mag. If we had 1000 women to choose, and we were trying to figure out the top 100 hottest, then id say multiple votes would work. But the point here is, the ranking, of 100 already pre-selected women.
Ofcourse, multiple votes are allowed, or ofcourse just one vote. It would however be based on the honor system. Meaning, if i allow multiple votes, they could vote 500 times if they wanted, but if theyre not immature idiots, theyll play along and just do 5-10 votes, whatever its u guys set it at.
I do strongly think that it should be 1 vote per person though. It would make the results more accurate, since each vote is decided over 99 other women. Allowing multiple votes is going to create a popularity contest.
1 vote per person would help elimate popularity votes. Meaning, if people are allowed 10 votes, 5 will be truthful votes, and the rest will just be based on names/popularity.
Example: say some dude chooses a no name model/actress as his #1 girl (which most people will do), i can assure you he would also choose britney spears as the 5th vote/last vote just because he knows her name, he knows shes hot, and doesnt want to choose some girl he's never heard of or seen before. Most guys here wouldnt choose britney spears as the #1 girl to be with, but if they get more than 1 vote, chances are theyll vote for her just because. Next thing u know, no name model has 20 votes, while britney spears has 5000 votes. When in reality she was nobodies first vote, but is at the #1 spot.
THATS what causes inaccurate votes. Multiple votes.
The catch with 1 vote, is it makes guys actually think. NO GUY is going to select a woman they havent seen/heard of, and no guy is going to search the internet for pics of 90 different women. Its just natural theyll choose names they know.
aaaand thats why i think 1 vote is best. Hopefully you agree. |
