has there been a so cal TA party yet? I mean I'm sure there was one in the past, if so does anyone know about it? How was it, where was it, who was there????
I'm just asking cuz if there hasnt been one yet then somebody should actually throw one. Should be a really great turnout with as many dedicated heads as there is on this board. Is anyone feeling me on this one or am i just talking to a wall? |

| well... I was thinking of something that would unite all of the SoCal TAs together, so like a centralized location, which will make it easier for people to come from all over. the hard part is finding the right place. It definitely has to be an all ages event and it has to be an open later than you usual club type of place. It'll most likely have to be in a club or some type of venue, but it still up in the air. I mean day parties are awesome and so are camp outs. But who is more down for what? I mean its solely up to the people deciding to throw the party anyhow right? So... In my opinion anytime, anywhere is a good time for a TA party. Just gotta see how many people are really interested in making this happen. |

well it doesnt look like having support from SoCal TAs is going to be a problem, the thing is... Some people are going to be doing more of the footwork then others wether we like it or not.
I for example, do not even have a car nor do I have a computer to use Aim or access any chat boards. So people are gonna have to take advantage of the situation for themselves if they want in. I feel that everybody plays a role wether it be big or small. And thats the way it should be because we are all in this for the love of the music, and that makes us an Alliance.
I would like to be able to secure a venue but it would be in San Diego, sorry i'm afraid thats the best i can do, and it doesnt make it easy for those TAs from up North to have to travel.
Not to metion I'm not really a promoter, just a dj like most of you who just wants to throw a dope ass party with lots of Trance. Havnt got too much time under the belt with throwing my own parties, but I do know that its not as diificult as I'm making it sound.
thats why i'm more or less up for suggestions to see what some of you have to offer, I dont know where to start, I may have opened a can of worms that I cant really handle, but i'm willing to do whatever it takes to make this happen.
I just dont want to be the only TA that feels the drive to do something like this.
and with that saidI just want you to know that I'm not gonna lt this idea go and I'll keep you updated on it as things start to take form, but keep in mind if I'm the one that has to find a venue, then its gonna be in SD and its propably gonna be 21+, and thats usually the first step to getting a party started.
So the first thing that needs to get done is we need to find a club or some place which makes it easy for us all to commute, a place where we can stay up late or all day and A place where all ages are invited.

i agree to that. we'll throw a kick ass party. if everyone brought at least 2 ladies for every guy we'll be fine! lets plan it for the summer!!!!!!! |
