as you read this, you're probably skeptical as to how this sounds.... but I have to admit I really like it, as soon as I saw it I had to find out about it, being such a huge fan of the track in general

Find it on the cosmic gate set @ djmixes :)
dreamland
I am also very skeptical about this track.

Though I'll try not to pass judgement on it till i've heard it ;)

maybe not up on par with their urban train remix, but I've heard far worse interpretations, it's definitely playable imo darren :p

I'm not sure

And I'm pretty sure it's not just a Mr Sam remix but a Fred baker vs Mr Sam one, Fred's told me that it's being released with his name on cos sam had said it was his own or something, but when fred sends me his interview back, it should have more on that

what your saying is correct. i've read this info from his webpage some weeks ago. it says that he stopped his collaborations with MrSam because he keeps saying that he's the one that produces the tracks all by himself, while the truth (as he says) is that MrSam only helps in mastering and fine touches, yet he trys his best to take all the credit.

aaah wait i found the quotes :

A few weeks ago Fred Baker annouced the news on his website (www.babackrecords.com) that he'll be ceasing his famous co-operation with Mr Sam. The announcement itself was pretty vague there, but yesterday he posted the entire story on the Mike forum, and I thought I'd share it with you!

"Hi my friends and the others...
Just to let you know that I leave Mr Sam for some very good reasons...
Sorry for his fans but Mr Sam didn't play music on a keyboard, didn't program a sequencer or something like this... He told to too much people that my recording studio and my company were to him !
for the rest, in the beginning, Mr Sam was a concept, a project with a little dj, nothing other... he was my friend but I didn't know that the succes of the productions made to him to turn his head !
I'm sorry for the truth but I put my emotions in my music, not him...
He has got very good musical collection as dj... I don't deny it but for the rest, you will see that he msut allways have someone next him to make the work on his place... that the reason that the next follow-ups of Mr Sam will be produced by some guys like Tim Coltrane or Tom Wolff and ... Mr Sam will put his name in big size more than 15times on the cover of the record to say that's produce by him for his management company, publishing and also the rest... blablabla !
I know him too much know... I'm very happy that he's making now his own way... that's the best moment for me to show to the world WHO I am, what can I be able to do as producer and dj... and all the things that I'll make, it'll be never more on the name of another artist because I don't want to stay anymore in the shadow of someone if I'm his producer and he don't have any respect for me !
LOVE for the music...................
Note : Hey Mike... the New Active Sight will be a Bomb !!!!!!!!!
Fred BAKER"

Hmm, it's not bad but they sure haven't got their magik back from let's say their golden 2000-2002 aera.

It will be released together with a new Marc et Claude Remix on Alphabet City. They just released a vinyl with the old original mixes again and soon comes this remix vinyl with Cosmic Gate and Marc et Claude remix.

Have to say I'm positively surprised about this. CG have kept the track unusually subtle for their standards, while at the same time adding lots of punch and drive to update the original for today's dance floor. Well done!
