Is there anyone quite like PvD???

After attending PvD live I must say that his style is different from that of what I heard from AvB and Tiesto. Both these guys are usually more melodic trance (like ASOTs from AvB) I like them but the in your face bass, techy tunes and high energy songs that PvD spun just blew me away.
Are there any other DJs that spin similar stuff or have AvB and Tiesto done similar stuff and I just haven't heard of it.
I don't even know what to call it. Is it high energy trance, hard trance... or what |

| paul is better then tiesto, and armin isn't even close. When paul feels like throwing it down its in amazing. You would probably like sets from adam sheridan, he plays almost the same style as paul. And is a solid producer. |

| I love PvD's stuff from 2001 and 2002. Listening to his Rosenmontag's Rave set from 2002 now even. There's so much energy in this set it's mindblowing! |

can do sometimes but more often than not adam plays it a bit harder and a with a bit more base. tends to play alot of katana while I always think that PvD techy stuff has quite cheesy synths to them (which i love by the way) |
