Chopper Problem

Hey guys,
I'm trying to use the chopper effect that comes with cubase and I am running into a problem. I'm constantly getting pops along with the breaks that cubase puts into the "chopped" audio. I'm not sure if its a hardware problem (my computer on the edge of it's limit) or a software issue that maybe some of you have run into.
If you'd like to listen to the part I'm talking about, you can hear it on a tune I'm working on. I have a rough version up, and the part occurs at around 2:57. I'm sorry I don't have a shorter sample to download with just the part in question, but I'm away from my computer, and I already have this file uploaded. It's a rough mixdown, and it's not complete, but the chopper issue is present.

Did you try Chopper 2?
Also, make sure that it's not set to a square wave with 100 percent depth. |

| Also note that "chopping" uses tons of cpu resources so you may be maxing out your cpu, thus causing pops. |

| Thanks guys, I'll give those a shot. I've never used a chopper before, and it's been frustrating. |
