No Offense.

Its quite cheesy... change the sounds.
I like the progression.... of the melody... but I dont like the melody itself.

Good effort for a first tune

well on my melody i'm just using the apreggio 7 on fruity loops with a delay, compression, and reverb. you got any tips on how to make the sound non cheesy.

You must make your own arps, and don't use the fruity arps!!!

It's not bad for a first track!!!!

Remember my first track! Year was then 1993 and ModEdit was wicked proggie :) Your first song is kickass production when i think back in time. Keep it up. Soon we rule the world
eNRGyNiX
well i programmed my own piano roll on the 3x OSC apreggio 7 on FL. what do you mean by creating ur own ARPs... ? i'm a little confused.

hey trance Addicts, does my percussion sound good? lol.. keep feeding me with critism.

This is an ok synth-track, but it is definately not trance. Keep it up and don't stop just because we say you haven't quite got it yet. Someday you'll be making trance if that's what you want to do.

thanks Producer for the comments. i guess i still need to understand the basics of creating trance. i personally would love to find a FLP file that could reveal the steps taken to create a good track. but its all good, i'm just a novice.

get a pen and paper, load up your favourite track(s) and make detailed notes of what goes where and when. it will help you a lot.

well the melodies are worth a shoot but you need to find better sounds for them :)

check around the stickies and listen alot to the kind of trance you wanna produce :)

ohh and check the volumes for the different sounds...for example, the snare-sound was way to loud :)

for a first track I think it's awesome but most parts of the track are not so awesome if you look at it from a general view...but if this is your first track it'll be interesting to hear you a year frmo now :D

keep up the work and don't give up! :)

the type of music i would love to produce are tracks like tiesto's-sparkles (airscape remix) i love how the song is so simple sounding in the intro, but the buildup is just mouth dropping. can anyone give me some ideas on where to get some good sounding samples and synths. by the way i do not know how to recognize different notes. thanks for the feedback so far. its nice to find a forum that gives you answers to your questions =).
