Ferry Corsten & Shelly Harland - Holding On

This track is awfully wicked until the vocals kick in, the lyrics are in credible but her voice is winey and repetative. The beginning is so seductive and enticing but God that voice reminds of me of Madonna. Does anyone know if there is a dub to this track and if there is where can I find it. This track has a lot of potential, with me anyway, if it weren't for that voice. After listening to it a few times, I thought of it as cheesy just because it was so repetative, like mainstream garbage. Somebody HELP!

It stinks.

This was my favorite track from "Right of Way."

. . And the vocals are by no means cheesy. You need to get

your cheesedar checked. It's very off :P

The vocals are chessy not the lyrics! Tune into Party931 if you like those whiny voices.

I for one think the vocals fit perfectly . . . and Ferry couldn't

have done a better job choosing the vocalist.

how can vocals be cheesy but not the lyrics?

The lyrics aren't the usual I love you, love you but they are more subjective and sensual, a bit more like a poem but the vocals are just ty - pay attention to when she sings "behind my back" God I could hang myself. It might also be that the track is way to slow for vocals that at are at a moderate pace. I would think this track was a little bit more proggy and for prog those vocals are way too drawn out and way to much like a chorus/verse type of thing.
