Can anyone in here tell me the exact steps in getting a domain name by way of networksolutions.com, like what happens when you sign up, what you do after, and how would you host your site. Like how it all fits together, maybe the website coordinator here at ta can give me some tips
thanks

Whatever you do, DON'T register a domain with network solutions. They still charge $35/year for a domain... i dont recommend them at all- unless you want slow service and rediculous prices. I recommend a domain registrar such as www.stargateinc.com instead.
for hosts, i heard this one is good: www.hostrocket.com
Just about ANY webhost will register & setup a domain name for you when signing up w/them for a hosting package. i recommend this instead of trying to register a domain yourself directly. it'll save time & make things less complicated! |
