ever have a memory that never actually existed?

| was at work today and some tune came on like an oldie..and boom for a ropudn 2 seconds felt like a few minutes i recalled this memory...but then after abt 10 seconds after the memory came into my head it started fading..and then i realized that wasnt even a memory from my own past...it was truly ed up...i understand music can trigger memories or feelings u have once had but its ed when they never happened before |

after experimenting with meditation i sometimes "dream" while i am awake. i can suddenly become aware of thoughts, sounds, images, feelings etc not knowing where it came from. this happens while meditating and when not. most often i just let it pass but sometimes it can be really weird or fcuked up.
point is, dont know if it is dreams or memories, i just know that i didnt consciouscially (how do you spell that goddamn word) put it there. once you become aware of these things it happens more often, it is there all time just that you dont notice it.
it will probably happen to you again. enjoy it, i do. sometimes it can be more or less movies playing on the backside of my eyelids. useful when you are bored.

see i first thought maybe i was remembering an old dream i had once..but it just seemed so real...i could only recall one lil part of the whole memory..if i think back to it now i cant remember what the hell the meomry was..i mean right after i had it i started forgetting it again i cannot remember what the memory was at all...its so weird...really ed up...i cant stop thinking abt it either

mine wasnt triggered by a song. -but I was sitting their one day after I woke up and had this memory of a news-reader majorly stuffing up a sentence.... then instead of trying to repeat the sentence she just got all shy and embarassed with slight nervous laughter.... then she kept avoiding eye contact with the camera, occasionaly looking up only to look down again...
...I swear I had that looking-up-and-down loop in my head for at least 30 mins that day while I tried to figure out whether I actually saw that on TV or whether it was a dream that I wasnt aware I had...
