| Does anybody know the reason why Ratty - Sunrise (Here I am) and Lost Witness - Did I Dream (Fable) sound almost identical? Just very curious is all.... |

They don't sound anything like each other, they only use the same vocal which is called the "Song To The Siren" vocal which comes from some male song 80's track. Many dance tracks have used this over the last decade. Here are a few of them:
Messiah "Temple Of Dreams" (1992)
Everything But The Girl "Single" (1997)
Fable "Song To The Siren" (1999)
Lost Winess "Song To The Siren" (1999)
Ratty "Sunrise" (2000)
Personally I do not like this vocal at all! |

Thx 4 the info Paul. Maybe the version I have is both trax mixed 2gether. All I know is that it is NOT just the vocal thats the same...the beat & melody of the main part of the trax R very similar.
I think Oakie was mixin...so who can tell?
