Anybody know why everynow and then for no reason Explorer starts running at 99%, when the dam computer isn't doing anything?, is this coursed by a virus or some gay program that might of been downloaded accidently?, its pissing me off, I run XP, and the only way for me to stop it is to end the explorer process, but then its abit of a pain in the ass to browse your computer.
Any help???
OH and I dunno if this is the right forum to post in, couldn't find anywhere else. |

| it happens to me far too often. not only does it take up 99% cpu, it suddenly starts ot eat up loads of RAM, and considering i only have 256 for now, everything creaks to a halt. so until i get more ram, i just end the explorer process :whip: :whip: |

well I dont have the cause of your problem but a solution: everytime you have to end task "explorer" then you can just open it again without that annoying 99% bug. Just click on "new task" and type explorer in there.. that should restart explorer.
I hope I made any sense :) |
