Well we guys got in just as he started playing (got lost on the way - I must say Ohio has the most confusing roads ever)
The club was decent but this being a tuesday night it was not that crowded which sometimes can be a good thing
However the music was definitely not what I expect out of him. This is like the 5th time I have heard him play and it just keeps getting worse everytime. Maybe he keeps his best for the bigger places like Miami and NYC It was a diffrent mish mash of styles and songs throughout the evening that did not really build up to anything.
He teased For an angel but never played it so I was kinnda dissapointed about that.
Ended with Nothing But You for encore - Definitely the highlight of the night. Got the entire crowd moving with that.
I know I may be starting the oft debated topic but on the whole I got to put my money on Tiesto. His sets in DC and Miami for WMC Just blew me away in the kind that PVD has not done for a long time
Oh and another thing. I hate these 2 hour sets. Its like you are hardly getting into the grove and it all ends. Espescially for me and my buddies in Pittsburgh who have to travel like atleast 3 hours to listen to some good stuff

| was there and had a great time, heard some good tracks...great to hear 'another way' out finally...praiseworthy tunes sounded nice also. all in all liked his set, paul wanted to keep playing but the cops were outside. he had the next song cued up but was told to stop...vip section was nice, got to meet paul for all of 30 sec which was definately cool...i really enjoyed the early parts of his set--like masters and nickson - out there, and one of my favs--kallocain!!!:) |

I had a great night; got in at 9 30 and danced till the last minute..
He played about 45 minutes/ hour over what he was supposed to do.
And no the cops had nothing to do with the place closing; it's the club that's like that. I seen the manager try and keep it open until 3.30 ( with scheduled time of 3.00 ) and by 3.15 all the security guys are bitching that they HAVE TO shut down.
This was far from being a bad show. |
