ex-club EXIT HEADS THREAD

having posting in the " Where's Draper " thread, and realizing people were talking about the old EXIT in NYC awhile back, I decided to make this thread! haha
SO ALL THE EXIT HEADs, STATE YOSELF!
haha and your best or worst time there at EXIT.
- i remember back then at EXIT, i use to see the old-man TAP DANCING on the main floor to the opening DJ. and you know what, I STILL SEE HIM! hahaha i saw him last time at AVALON not too long ago. but back then, when Draper spun every Friday, man that was the life. I remember when it used to snow on the mainfloor, when the smoke machine came on and everyone was dancing and cheering, that god damn truck horn. hahaha I was usually `round the asian corner by the ATM machine against the wall. i remember awhile back on july4th, i was helping my boss for the " NEONWORLD 4.0 " Our production (clubpass2 productions) threw down 1000 glowsticks. the WHOLE FLOOR was lit with glowsticks. amazing sight. Frankie Bones came to spin, Dj X-Dream spun, and others. and the closing set was done by the one and only COSMIC GATE! OMFG i had so much fun that night. the nights were everyone was ed up. hahaha :crazy: :eyespop: =X bad, but we all had fun. Miss those nights at EXIT. lots of stuff happened there, can't come up with everything now.
Any of ya got mini stories to tell from EXIT? lol |

OMG I just heard all about this night from hitokiri!! He said he kept grabbing handfulls of glowsticks and throwing them off the 2nd floor balcony onto the main dancefloor. i can't remember all the details.
My exit story would have to be Deep Dish in November 2002 (or was it December?)
It was the first night I met EnigmaT. He and Pyro were both there and we were all a bit..umm....you know. DD was TWISTED that night playing really dark, dirty SICK beats. I ran into John in the red room and he was BUGGING OUT! He was like in this crazy trance with the glow sticks just putting on the most amazing show I have seen to this say. I can't believe the moves he made. You'd have to see it to believe it.
Ok, that's not much of a story but it stuck in my memory.. I have never seen John in such a state to this day. He was possessed by the glow stick gods that night. :) |

Ahh the days when my knees were fresh!
Deep Dish was amazing that night. My best night at exit was December 2001 (Tiesto). Wow I can still hear the 3000 Exit kids screaming TEE EST OO
He played a beutifull driven set that night.
My Best/Worst Night at Exit was Febuary 15th 2002 V Day. The bad part of the night was that I had to be carried out of the club. The good part was that I met a great friend ( Melissa) :) |

I remember when the old guy was tap-dancing. Sometimes he would have a partner. I remember when those tool-bags used to chant Joey X's name when he went on stage. I knew people thought draper was god(I WAS! one of them too) but when people thought Joey X was god, I found it amusing and sad at the same time. He was no one to worship, he ripped off his promotion team all the time. The coolest promoter was jermaine. And the owner too...what was his name....david... you david for cursing me out in that hell hole money room. Exit, it was a great time in the begining, but the last year was just upset after upset.
It was a good time at the time.......there were some fit sluts there too <-----thats the honest truth....there were!
