Probotector / Contra Hardcorps on the Sega Megadrive, or how to wreck your fingers in an instant.
Knightmare 2 : Maze of Galious, for finding the damn cross needing to beat the final boss (it was in a very VERY well hidden place. If you didn't have it, you had to defeat Galious by hitting him with 999 mines... You could only lay 3 at the same time on the screen. And worst of all, your max amount of mines was... 999. Took about an hour and a half to beat Galious if you didn't have the cross, and you had to play a perfect battle then).
And when it comes to reflexes, Samurai Shodown 3 on Neogeo in hardest mode isn't bad either...
And finally, Doom2 in Nightmare. |

| i agree with everyone who's said snes and nes games. nes games were GOD DAMN hard!!!!! and i thought that it was just because i was young. but i go back and play them now and i still get pwnd. games are built for pussies. let's see 6th grader bobby smith who s everyone up in counterstrike beat the old castlevania's. pussies... :wtf: |

I think newer games are easier in general because my little cousin can beat a lot of the newer games on PSX and gamecube. Hell most PC games that I play I can usually beat in 2-7 days, with the exception of RPGs. |

castlevania 2 was the ing ! best game in the series besides SotN, in my opinion. dracula was so easy though... just bomb him with holy water and SEE YA!
hey... anyone remember those VHS strategy guide things? like they would show someone playing some games in order to show you tricks and how to beat certain levels or whatever. i had like 3 on tape, but we taped over them! i'm so pissed! so many times i wanted to watch them to relive some video game memories! my favorite of the tapes had bionic commando and milon's secret castle on it. i never even played those games... but i loved watching the guy play those games. especially in milon cause the narrator ed up and said something about being electrified if you touch a certain area. then the dude touched it and nothing happened. me and my brohter were always like wtf!? anyway... enough rambling... |

meh finished them + 007 gonden eye + perfect dark
quake on hardest setting whole game in under 20mins
serious sam on the secret hard mode where enemys phase in and out of existance.
bubble bobble single player...some of the levels are only done with 2 players

Cauldron II - C64 did any one know what you were actualy trying to do?
and how could i forget GAUNTLET I & II
there are many more most of whitch are old skool games that have no end...

Yeah some missions on there can be difficult. I managed to pass them all after a time though.
And i've never been good at fighting games(Street Fighter, Tekken, etc...). But that hasn't stopped me from buying and playing them. They're just so darn fun. Especially Marvel Vs. Capcom 1&2. |
