Agreed. Some is ok...meaning that I can tolerate it. I can tolerate a few songs that some of the DJ's here have remixed. I can't stand most of it though. |

Same here in NC. The scene here is so pathetic that we don't even have a place to post on TA!
Hip Hop sucks IMO. I can't stand listening to more than 10 minutes of it... |

i lived in Tampa for 20+ years and finally came to my senses and moved out here to lovely Oklahoma where the real trance scene is,...
in short, be happy with the breaks or you too could have the choice between electric cowboy(country and hip-hop) or scooters(country with little hip-hop) and yeah there is trance here,.. if you love sandstorm or zombie nation then you will be in trance heaven!!! :D

I didn't know you were from Tampa. I enjoyed your sarcasm. ;)
I am thankful that good music is only a road trip away. I am just over how close minded this town is. When my best friend announced on his message board a couple of months ago tht he was going to start focusing more on trance and that his mixes were primarily going to be trance he actually got attacked by people (verbally online...not literally). They wrote crap saying they would no longer support him and that he was stupid and trance sucked. They flat out said that he was an idiot and that Tampa is a breaks town and not a trance town. I couldn't believe the response. Now different people come online and ask for trance mixes. He's slowly converting people. It's been one hell of a process. |

great!! slowly but surely it can be done,... and even though im ok with breaks nothing too great, but i like how that entire genre is totally associated with Tampa,... so Tampa does have its own piece of the EDM puzzle, although obviously not to our preference but still... |

Hopefully by the time that you are back there will be room for everything. We are relentless. I support his efforts 100%. Suzy Solar had the right idea by branching out. Now she tours everywhere. How long will you be stationed over there? |

i just started the military last year,... i frequent these TA gatherings often and will be back in Tampa next month,.. i flew to Atlanta yesterday for their AtlTA party and flew back today,....:D |

I read about that. I'm glad that you were able to at least have some fun! Atlanta is a good town....good people. My friend is spinning there next month. We have a lot of friends up there, and every time I go up there I have a blast. We always say that the people up there are still about the music. |
