Will producers stop the lameass vocals

Seems in trance these days, too many ing producers are using lameass vocals that don't fit, don't make sense and don't do anything but make my ears bleed.
Cass and Slide - Perception (Vocal Mix)....done correctly
Hybrid - Blackout ----done correctly
Delerium - Silence ---done correctly
Subsola - So Pure ---done correctly
but all these people are loving the lameass
Raging, Venus ----both dire useless horrid vocals and it was played by deejays.....horrible...made my ears bleed
Just Be, UR -----more horrible vocals
Justine Suissa, Jan Johnston with PvD
and the worst is BT with Tiesto - Love Comes Again.....all crap vocals....utterly crap vocals
why can't producers not use vocals if they suck and the person cannot sing like suissa and co.
they need to get the hint...the crappy vocals are not working. |

| I remember one of the things that turned me off of ATB way back in the day was when I started noticing that he'd let the vocals carry the track instead of complementing the instrumentals. I have to agree with you, vocals are excellent if used properly, but lately there's been a lack of good meshing. |

i always did like the vocals in venus, and i'm not the big a fan of vocal tracks...but maybe my fav is
planet perfecto feat. grace - not over yet (mixes).....have to think about that for sure, but its high on the list. |

| I have never been a huge fan of vocals myself. That's one of the reasons why I started listening to EDM. While there are a few vocal tracks that are outstanding such as 'Ascension - Someone' and 'Cass & Slide - Perception (Vocal Mix)' the majority of vocal tracks that people like are horrible. |

| when i first got into trance and for the first few years i hated vocal trance.. i got exposed to some good vocal trance, but i will tolerate about 1 vocal out of about 20-25 tracks. nowadays the vocals are , with some exceptions in prog i guess |

I agree, except for maybe Venus. While not the best, I thought those vocals were decent.
The rest, however, are shallow euro-inspired fluff. It's getting really aggrivating. |
