i totally didn't like what they've done to it....
i liked BMW's usual "cat" look... like the one in my picture, it looks like it's squinting at you viciously
the 6 series looks like it's depressed and on prozac |

that car is too damn red
a sweet ride though, BMW powaaa!!! |
It's red so other folks can see it coming at high speed. You ought to try to convince your insurance company of the same...

um, I'm not really into cars. So I guess I don't have too much to contribute. I did drive one. . .once. . . for like 10 minutes.
If you're wondering why I'm posting when I obviously have nothing of interest to contribute...
well.
I'm wondering the same thing myself.
I could be postwhoring.
or
avoiding studying.
or
I might be in the wrong thread?
:) |

and dezma, dude, don't diss BMWs!! |
bmw is a total piece of SH!T! Take my word for it - I have one. Mine is a 2000 328Ci - 45 repair records in its lifespan, engine problems worked on 6 times, car still stalls in the morning (that's after over 30 days of shop time for the car). Some other gems of problems with my 3:
1. Sunroof opens and closes all by itself. Or won't close period.
2. Check engine, ABS, DSC, Traction lights go on and off when they feel like it
3. Head liner is comming off like a cheap 80' chevy
4. Fuel gage indicator was off and caused me to run out of gass several times. (it showed 1/4 tank when the car was actually empty)
5. Factory CD Changer swallowed CD and won't release it (fixed several times)
6. AM radio didn't pick up any radio stations (had to replace radio and rear windshield (contained antena)
7. Dealer installed spoiler had to be re-attached 3 times
8. Windows won't go all the way up, door latch sticks, doesn't work
9. Trunk won't close on certain days unless you slam it several times
10. Car can be started with a cheap plastic key intended to let you open the car if you locked the keys inside. (so much for sophisticated electronics integrated into a $170 key)
11. Slowest navigation system on this side of a 286-equivalent computer. The car position indicator travels outside the map before the map is re-drawn. by that time you've missed your exit. Next one is 25 miles away...
12. God forbid there's sleet outside - your self-lowering windows won't lower and you can't open or close the door without bending the glass (frameless window). The overhang of the roof catches the glass and you can't get in.
to top it all off - a $44,000 car was worth $25,000 only a year after I bought it. 'nuff said? |
