i was sitting in my bed and i just figured something out .. the show 24 writes storylines and people out of the show .. there are many people that have been written out and storylines that don't exist anymore ..

people :
- the guy wayyyyyyyyy in the beginning that supposdedly had the virus ? what happened with him? don't see him anymore
- the doctor/nurse for the president. whatever happened to that woman? she got written out.

storylines :
- the president's supposed 'hand problem' that he got from the end of last season after that haenous attack .
- the president's scandal that was going to be revealed. whatever happened to that?
- jack's recurring blackouts and his addiction to heroine. how come jack isn't blacking out anymore?

if anyone can name anymore, name some ..
pretty weird .. never really ended them smoothly.

yeah I was wondering about the whole jack heroin thing myself.

remember, it is only an hour show 24 times, while they try to be as all encompassing as possible, they can't keep up on all of it.
Shudder
wasnt the woman/gf of the president purposly written out?? she broke up with him... thats all i remember... i dont think she played a major role..

as for the hand problem, they were only doing routine check ups.

i dont know what happened to the scandal.. but he told the police a lie about being with his ex-wife... and i guess that covered it up...

thats everything i know about the show up to this point.
fitom tiel
maybe they'll resurface.

the guy in the beginning with the virus was amador, who they caught but allowed to escape in hopes of tracking down saunders. He was killed by a car bomb.

it's proly hard to keep all that stuff going

some of that stuff is irrelavent at the moment and wouldn't add much more to the story anyway

Hmmm guess you missed a couple episodes or something? The guy in the begining that had supposidly had the virus "Kyle Singer"? That whole thing was a scam that Jack, Tony and Gial (spelling) set up from the begining...He and his family were not infected, and they were realised...I dunno what else you want from that charactor - Since he's not infected or anything, the only scene's they could show now with him in it would just be like him sitting at home doing nothing - So there's no purpurse for them to be following him anymore...

Well the woman that Palmer was dating...Well the last scene with them they agreed to stop seeing eachother and what not - but...Are you guys forgetting what time it is? The last episode was from 7 - 8 a.m. so in real time i'm sure she's probably been sleeping for a while, so it would be pointless just to show a scene with her sleeping at her house heh O_o

That "hand problem" your talking about wasn't like something that just happend at the begining of this season...It was a scar from the end of the last season when palmer was infected at the last scene of the last episode in season two. He just get's rutine (spelling) checkups, as would anyone if they had that kinda virus heh.

The scandel part well remember...The last 7 episodes took place from 1 - 8 a.m. so during that late at night i'm sure it's not like what everyone's talking about - hopfully more about that will be explained in the episodes to come, especially since it's 8 a.m. now, so the days' just starting and that is the talk on the news (that and what's happening at the chanler plaza hotel of corse)

The herion thing yea...I don't know a lot about herion withdrawels so im not sure how realistic this whole addiction thing is compared to how it really is in real life - but he hasn't really craved it since he was in Mexico and that ended around midnight or something (i'm not really sure) so that's like 7, 8 hours or something, and he was craving it hardcore at the begining of the season though - So my question is - Is that too long of a time not to show symptoms if your addicted? Oh yea, I just remember while jack was in mexico with the Salazars, Ramone gave jack some sort of pill to help him with his craving since it was starting to affect him more and more - So I guess that's the excuse I would think that they'd use for that heh.

Well I hope I answered some of your questions :D

Good post. :) But yeah, the heroin addiction still baffles me. After being addicted the physical withdrawal isn't going to go away in a few hours. You need a few days of heavy detox, and you won't be able to function in the least the way Jack is.

I don't think this season is near as good as the other, but it's still better than most of the garbage on TV.

The hand-thing at the end of season two twisted everything around, but it never got resolved. Also, the woman Bauer obviousley got a thing for in s2 disappeared in s3. As well as Kim's boyfriend who lost his legs... I can't think of anything more.

Btw, does anyone know what happened to the russian guy in the woods, at the end of Sopranos s3? That was also not resolved in s4...

Seems like "plotholes" is common in most tv series.

Apparently Jack and Kate Warner had something inbetween S2 and S3. She showed up at the beginning of S3 but that seems to be after they'd broken up.

Kim's boyfriend said he never wanted to see her ever again, so there you go.

Can't wait for this weeks ep :tongue2

thanks for clearing it up .. can't wait for 24 this tuesday .. but yes .. it seems that many shows have plotholes.. can't name some, but they do .. many uncleared plots that have not successfully been ended.
