Back to live in Sydney!

Well, I posted here awhile ago when I first arrived in Australia on my 1 year working holiday visa from Canada. I've finished 1/2 my trip around Australia and now i'm back to try and make some money and chill in Sydney for a couple months.

Are there any good events coming up? I was just reading a few posts and saw that I missed Misja Helsloot and a couple other good nights which I was pretty disapointed about. Does the AU TA crew go out together to bars/clubs besides big events?

Looking forward to meeting the aussie trance crew!

Not so much big events, but there is usually a smaller club night on most weeks which a lot of us attend...

Keep an eye out for A Night of Trance, Halcyon, Sweetchilli (for progressive trance/house).

You're lucky though, we're getting Tiesto and Pete Tong at Home next Saturday night (May 1st) .. suggest you grab a ticket now cos it'll probably sell out during the week :)

Get tickets from Central Station records on Oxford St, or go to the venue itself (Home is at Cockle Bay Wharf in Darling Harbour). They sell tickets from the bar at the front :)

Sweet thanks for the heads up! Do you have any more info on ticket price? Also, where is oxford st? :) I'll probably just go to the club since I've been exploring and walking around in that area. I was at the Anzac day parade today, pretty cool to be in another city for a big event like that.

Will you guys be having a pre-party meetup or something?

No probs! Tickets are $55 or so, a bit on the pricey side but it's Tiesto and we all paid $120 for him on New Years Eve, so this is a bargain :D

Oxford St is just near the city, it starts at the south-eastern corner of Hyde Park. From the corner of Hyde Park, there is a 1km strip of restaurants, bars and nightclubs as you head up the hill. Lots of clothing shops as well, all the way along to Paddington. You should be able to find it pretty easy :D

Dunno about a pre-party, but we'll definitely be meeting front row centre hehehe

damn, $55.. pretty expensive considering I don't have a job yet lol. I'll probably be there as I havn't been to a party in about 3 months since I started travelling.

Know of any employers looking for IT people? hehe
