Let me start by saying this sucks! I just got back from my ear, nose and throat specialist. He told me I have a considerable amount of hearing loss, well below normal, but still not in a real danger zone, and that it cant be fixed. I have to get more hearing test, and a special MRI for ear nervs or sumttin. he said at concerts i have to wear ear plugs to prevent further damage.
any one else have something like this happen to them? |

don't take this warning lightly dude. I was studying hearing n stuff last semester, some is permanent, and being deaf isn't cool.
plus I think concerts sound better with ear plugs.
but I have never been tested for hearing, but I do know that I have lost a lot of it. |

I am 28 years old, and never listened to the warnings about loud music and hearing loss.
It's true, folks.
I have a significant amount of hearing loss, caused by loud music, and improper protection from loud sounds.
I still need to get back to the doctor and have more tests run... but i honestly hate going to doctors.
=)
Earplugs are your friends. |
