werd. the events that transpired at old trafford will be forever etched in my memory as one of the most disgraceful, dispicable displays of sporting behaviour EVER. i dont like man u. i dont hate arsenal... but from that point on, it all changed. keowns a dog. i'd love to shove his head into a pizza oven and marinade his face with hydrochloric acid and then tread all over his grandma's garden. :whip: |

anyway, Ferguson would not be able to manage his team for without his unlimited cash pool :whip: :p |
that is one of the most ignorant comments i have ever seen. i won't even bother to explain to you why, you obviously have no idea
but anyway, you are all just gloryhunters :P
have any of you ever been to old trafford? highbury? etc
to me you can't truly celebrate a team's success until you have suffered through the bad times and actually been to see them play!
everton owns you all :P |

Interesting .. though a team of stars will almost always lose out to a star team...
Chelsea prove this year after year :) |

why is that ignorant? it's not that long ago that united went within a single win of relegation with the then most expensive squad in english history. It took many many years of big spending before ferguson ever managed to create a decent team. As a manager i don't consider him to be very good at all. |

Wrong wrong wrong! The foundation for United's success in the last decade or so years has always been it's youth program, securing promising talent at a very young age and nurturing it into a superstar talent. Players like Beckham, Giggs, Scholes, Butt, Gary & Phillip Neville, and Wes Brown are the best examples.
Sure, you need an expensive signing like a Cantona or a van Nistelrooy to cap it off, but often it's the less expensive signings like Solskjaer that turn out to be the best buys. |

wrd webbie.
Man Utd success was built on youth and a solid mix of experience. Surely you cant say Man United spent big for their team to be succesful. Even arsenal this year, spent hardly a penny. |
