I heard this tune on Dr. Trance's show when it was still on Energy 108. It would have been either 1994 or 1995. It was technically a trance tune, but definitely from the era before the four-minute drumroll buildup (a la Blank & Jones, Ferry Corsten et al) became popular.
The tune had a Spanish or Italian female vocal singing something about "diablo". The vocal was probably four or so lines long, but it kept repeating.
Based on a Discogs search, I think that the song may be either
a) "Diablo" by Pluto (released 1994 on I.T.P. Records)
or
b) "Yerba Del Diablo" by Datura (released 1993 on Abfahrt Records)
If anyone owns either of these records or knows what tune I'm talking about, I'd appreciate some info. |
