i already have the vestax 275 mixer, which i got with last months wages, and know i am after some cd decks. At first i was going to get the axis 9's at the end of this month, as i can afford to get 2. I just want to have fun mixing. But theres a voice inside that says 'get the denon dns 3000's', indision. The problem is that i can only afford to get one denon this month and one the month after, which means another month before i can get fully into the groove, arrhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
is this the right option?
anyhow i do have a normal cd player, which i can have along side the denon, just to put me on. PLEASE ADVISE, I'M IN PAIN!!!!! |

id say go for Pioneer CDJ-800s. pssl.com has em listed for $599 each, which seems to be less than the DN3000, and i'd go for Pio's over Denons anytime.
not to mention, with a Pioneer cd deck, you get used to the layout of the standard for clubs (the CDJ-1000). it's a beautiful machine... |

| this is the denon has the sampler and next track locater as well as he abilty to scratch your samples, i'd go for the denon's over the pio, but thats just me and anyhow i dont want to play in clubs, i'm a recovering addict and that would be a very bad move!!!!!! i just wanna have loads of fun in my own room and with my mates with gr8 decks. |

I say, if you want the Denons, go for them, its only another month, and you will be really glad that you waited when you have 2 of them.
Those Denons kick the out of the Axis 9s, so if you get the 9s, you will have fun for awhile, but then regret getting the Denons, so save yourself that hassle and just get the Denons. |

| dont get me wrong the pio 800 is a fine peice of kit, but the beat cutter is best for trance, which i'm not that keen on, 1'm more of a house and old skool guy. What i like about the denon is that the platter spins, it play mp3, of which u can scratch and loop etc and it also tells u which track u have in the player. |

youll be happy with either one, it's kind of personal preference. but if you can try em out before, i would recommend you do. the denon can play mp3s and if youre just messing around in your room, well that can be damn sweet.
i just like pioneer gear better because i'm pretty confident it's quality. i don't really know much about the Denons, so i tend to pull away from stuff i'm not sure of. |
