any one else here love his tracks? :)
he is my fav berliner! (apart from Pvd o' course) :toothless
i 'finally' picked up his 2 albums today @ Hum sydney (oxford st)....was going to order em from amazon but waaaaaaaaay exp (in pounds).. ....
they both rock.....!

i first heard his lush soundscapes on nikky warrens GU cd...(rejviyak)...




hes released 2 albums (i cnt wait for third!)

yeah i love this guy! but i still haven't been able to get my hands on a copy of his albums

did hum have a few copies?

nick warren introduced me to quite a few hot production talents on that gu cd, quality stuff :)

the guy that worked there was kinda dumbfounded wen i went up to the register to pay.! he hadnt met any ulrich schnauss fans!...he ordered them and it also took him ages to grab em!....

get down there now!.
i tink he may also have far away trains..

I first heard him on 024 as well and i loved it!! I have been lookin for his albums since then, but never heard anything else! I remember talking to you helen ages ago about him. Man I have to hear these!

Thanks for the CD's Helen. Two of the best I have heard in years. This guy is totally amazing. Love this chilled dream style, brings back memories of Dreamland :)

too few replies to this thread. this producer is deserved of at least a 4 page thread. i've just checked out his music and both albums are gorgeous, filled with the lushest of soundscapes. each song, as detailed and descriptive as the next. definitely a definition of ambient music. both albums are great, but i have preference towards "a strangely isolated place". merely because it contains 2 more tracks. the other album, just leaves you hanging, and thirsty for more. now i have to hunt both of these cds down in melbourne. and if unsuccessful, resort to amazon. :eyespop:

I love the sound of the LP's SO much better then CD. Sorry guys, but the vinyl version is just that much sweeter sounding.
