i think all the mixes would be great! new and old if they didn't have those gay vocals! "come on dance with me..."
just horrible! i hate those and i can't imagine how and why people like them! they're probably the cheesiest and worst vocals on a respected trance classic i've ever heard. other than that the tune is great, absolutely great. too bad the vocals ruin the tune for me completely and there are no dub mixes and probably never will be!:( :( :(
anyway, from the new mixes the mr. sam vs. fred baker mix is definitely the best and i want a dub version of it! these vocals are almost as bad as the ones on born slippy!;) |

A little reminder for all of you who said "the original is the best". I believe you mean Jam & Spoon's Watch Out For Stella Club Mix featured on the new releases and that's not the original version of the track, just the most played one. The German duo Jam & Spoon (= Rolf "Jam El Mar" Ellmer & Markus "Mark Spoon" Löffel) did 2 remixes (Watch Out For Stella / Sign Of The Times) of it back in '92 but they have nothing to do with the Italian group Age of Love (= Bruno Sanchioni, Giuseppe Cherchia & Roger Samyn; Bruno being part of BBE as well). There isn't an actual Original Mix either.. OPM Mix and Boeing Mix were the 2 other mixes featured on the original '92 release along with the Jam & Spoon remixes so perhaps either one of them could be said as being the Original, not Watch Out For Stella Mix.
Things like this always remind me of another similar misunderstanding, the originality of another classic from the same era.. Energy 52 - Café Del Mar. Three'n'One Remix isn't the original version of that either as many ppl seem to think. The remix came out in '97 and Café Del Mar's official original release dates back to '93 (it was written ages before that tho). Strangely enough, Café Del Mar didn't get it's original mix released either.. Energy 52 (= Harald "Cosmic Baby" Blüchel & Paul Schmitz "Kid Paul" Moormann) decided to dump it for some reason so only the remixes (Kid Paul Mix, Cosmic Baby's Impression, Kid Paul's Peace Mix & Ralf Hildenbeutel's Porte de Bagnolet Remix) got released in '93.

But don't order there! it's the most ty shop out there. U can order something, even they don't have it in stock. So there could be months until you receive the item. In the meantime, u will order it on another shop and the they will send it after about 3 months to you and u have to pay very high shipping costs |

ok, my rundown on the remixes
cosmic gate remix, ok, can anyone explain why this one is percieved as good, it's subtle but also very plain
marc et claude remix, hooray for making a cookie cutter trance version of the tune:whip:
marco v remix, i had high expectations on this one and i was not dissapointed, marco gives it a nice thriving touch and isn't too hard, i <3
fred baker remix, very nice, very different from the others and has some nice ideas, i <3 this one too
wrecked angle mix, hell yeah with this one, very nice and the breaks really go well, i ing love this one |
