ok...made some calls, talk to friends and did some research
So here's the 411.
in celebration of MTV's Video Music Awards, they will host a number of parties and concerts that are open to the public(FREE) and of ALL AGES.
Sept. 4th 7pm
@Peir 54 (13th St and West Side hwy)
Fat Boy Slim
The Crystal Method
MJ Cole
Dub Pistols
I'm so there after classes~!
and for those who like hip-hop/R&B
there will be a concert earlier that day..4 pm

hehehehe I went to St. Peters....right up Kennedy BLVD from JCU...Jersey City is way ghetto...hehehehe I work there now for a private bank based on wall street. I work in their operations office at Newport Towers in downtown JC by the newport stop on the path...its beautiful down in that area! |

Fat Boy Slim = Norman Cook
I don't think he played on the Area:One tour. I would of been freakin' out if he did. The man is amazing on tables. You never know what he's going to put together as a set. I only heard him once live and it was worth the 8 hour drive to boston and $30 cover. We might go up to NYC, it's been a long weekend. Have fun though man.
