Pioneer HDJ 1000 Headphones

Ive had these headphones for awhile now but a few days ago i noticed that the sound would cut out if the cord was twisted a certain way...i did some research on them and come to find out the cord is replacable...so my question is does anyone know where i can get the replacable cord or has anyone had this problem??....thnx for any help

Indeed... the bass-cut from touching/turning the cord is a common thing... mine happened a few months ago... You'll have to ring Pioneer and get them to replace it.
In terms of cost I do not know as mine was covered under warranty - best to talk to them directly. :) |

| my old headphones did that.... that pissed me off, hardcore... i own the hdj-1000's too now. when you find out the cost of the chord/shipping please post it wo we all will have an idea too. thanks- |

Okay, here is what you do.
If you still have your warrenty information from your headphone plastic box
Call PioneerProDJ customer service and they will appoint you to a local repair shop. You don't have to pay for repair fee since you are still on warrenty. |
