Dr P - Rubbish!!! Richmond have a good list, they just have no confidence and CURRENTLY are playing the worst brand of football in the league.
It amazes me how much blame people put on people like Gaspar & Ottens
Ottens is returning from a potentially career ending back surgery and is leading the league in hit outs despite not even being a full time ruckman and not in his best form.
Gaspar is only 10 months back from a full knee reconstruction and has played in every match except for the Wizard Cup match against the Bulldogs. Its usually a 11-12 month injury which he's come back from in 8-9.
Richo has been missing from the last 3 games (including StKilda), Stafford our premier ruckman has been suspended and Coughlan our best and fairest last year has been playing through a long term groin injury.
These are only partially to blame, many of the leadership group are out of form but they have a list that should be playing finals football, they just are seriously underachieving |

isnt the whole point to a good team, is to beable to replace stars when they get injured. ottens may beable to move down into the forward line, but you've then got another whole in your ruck division or backline. richmond are in total right now.. down on confidence, down on luck, down on good quality young players, and obviously have a fan base some of which turns on their players when the times are tough...
stick with 'em tigers supporters, as logical says that what goes down, should after a few years bounce back up again.. and that makes the years all the more worthwhile.
i love being a st. kilda supporter now.. and always have, but nothing is sweeter, then ting on the teams that used to belt you...
