he was so much better than new years. |

yeah...for me Armin was too up & down intensity-wise....and he played ots of percussion-led stuff that I didnt think fitted into it very well...
oh well I guess that's the beauty of opinions:thepirate |

LETHAL INDUSTRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! w000000t :D :D :D
haha i loved it
when he started his first track im like hey this sounds pretty cool, then i think what, it sounds like lethal industry and i started going nuts, but it wasn't the original mix and thats the only one i know and the intro was going for a while so i said to some complete stranger (he had a plain white t-shirt with tiesto written on the back) 'this sounds a lot like lethal industry, is it?' and i don't think he heard me right because he said 'no this is tiesto' lol so i said 'yeah i know but the track, its lethal industry?' and he pauses, we look at each other for a second and both yell 'yep!!' and we went nuts :D
the rest of the night was pretty cool too :)
i enjoyed the dj comp, i liked the melbourne and the nsw guy, i think the ones in the middle i didn't get into that much and the last guy got points for playing 'rage against the machine - renegades of funk' which i would never have thought i would hear in a club but it was great :D
i enjoyed pete tong as well, especially whatever he played at just past 1am, he had been going for about 20 mins nearly i think and his last few tracks too. who was the guy with the chick singing after tong? i really liked that as well. it was a good night, especially as it was for free :D
sorry i couldn't stay for your set jules had family commitments early in the morning. what time did you end up playing anyway?
i think the only thing that could have made the night better was hearing pete tong belt out some classic essential mix mc moments on the mic lol
NICE ONE BRUTHA! |
