| Does anyone know what exactly would be the difference be between graduating with an Arts degree from the Faculty of Arts or an Arts degree from Atkinson? Do the degrees look different? Because the courses are pretty much the same... |

to be honest, they should be pretty much the same thing in terms of courses. But, for an employer, they may like it better that it was actualy from the faculty of arts.
but yes you can take all the same courses at any college at york |

I went to York...and have taken some courses through Atkinson too. The only real drawback is that the course selection isn't so great at Atkinson and some of their courses don't fulfill degree requirements for the regular Faculty of Arts at York.
What program are you thinking about? A general arts degree like english, psychology, history, etc...probably won't make much diff to an employer. Now, getting a law degree from Osgood vs. another univerisity with a lesser recognized program...yeah, an employer might see a qualitative difference there ;) |

well I'm currently in the Information Technology program, and the requirements from Atkinson and Faculty of Arts are almost exactly the same except for the "General Education Requirements" from the respective faculties |
