Damn 2am law.
if you don't like it and you are a citizen, why don't you take it to the lawmaker and explain to them:

"Guys, this is america. Land of the _FREE_. I don't think that there should be any regulation as to how late at night I can be out. In the end, we are supposed to be more free than people in other countries and I think that the 2am closing law is oppressing my freedom of expression. Therefore I propose that it gets removed."

yeah, because lawmakers these days REALLY care about their constituencies.

If you lived in Boston or are in Boston you would understand the nature of the cities politics. The law that alcohol could NOT be sold on Sundays recently has been removed after some 150 years so maybe we will eventually get rid of this 2am alcohol curfew.Boston lawmakers say the law is on the books because of the fact that they dont want to have to put more law officers out to enforce the higher crime rates related to alchol abuse later at night.Boston has had this law on the books for a long time and there is no real good reason for them to change it.Freedom has its limitations. It wouldnt affect me that much if I didnt want to see long dj sets at Avalon. It is just a fact that probably will never be changed as proposals to change the curfew to 4am have been brough up and rejected numerous times.:whip: :whip: :whip: :whip:

I also dont think by saying that I want to see a 4 hour set from a dj would change any lawmakers mind about anything.
