| , if a cab home from the club costs $25, paying $70 to fly all the way to Montreal isn't that bad |

Nowhere else in the world is this problem so bad nor do they let you get away with it. In Europe theyd either fine you or literally run u off the road! | I drive for 500-750km a week and i only run into one of these pricks once every several weeks. It seems like everyone's going 130-140 in the left lane. Am i missing something here? |

yes you are missing something, if someone is coming faster than you on the left lane (at any speed) you let them pass :)
reminder: left lane is only for passing, not for driving ;) |

not on the autobahn! hehe! i'm one of those -the right lane doesn't exist for me especially when driving a bmw or mercedes!
the right lane is for 'sunday drivers' and people with mopeds and traktors (j/k they're not even allowed on the auobahn) ... unless u have the so-called 'ghost-drivers' who drive in the wrong direction!
no, but seriously, the thing about buffalo is true. i was just talking about that last nite with a friend who told me the same thing. next time i go to europe i will do the same.
i'm not so sure anymore if it's worth flying up to mtl from TO b/c the last time i flew it took me longer than by car, esp. cos of the constant delays with jetsgo ( service if u ask me), and all the other stuff of getting to the airport, checking in, waiting, getting to your destination from the airport etc.!
and when i drove up for BeB i spent $120 on gas (return) with the pathfinder and it took me about 4.5 hrs one way ... |

reminder: left lane is only for passing, not for driving ;) | Every so oftn, someone who seems to think 140 is too slow does come along. When this happens, i promptly let him pass, then get back in the left lane, go at whatever speed he's going and use him as cop bait :D |

Generally your right but i commute on 401 everyday and find that if your willing to drive 140+ you can stay in that lane. however, if your coming up behind someone and they dont move over when they have the room to, you have every "right" to ride thier ass, horn, high beam or whatever it takes. ;)
Also, you should try to stay out of the left lane if there isnt too much volume.
I cant stand ignorant fuks that misuse the left lane. |

In the US i can fly round trip regular price Buffalo to NYC (same distance) for $100 US including all taxes. Taxes and service fees there are only $15 in total.
|
This doesn't compute, you're saying paying $100USD ($137CDN) and driving to buffalo (parking, crossing, time involved) is better then paying $70CDN? |

And as for the Buffalo option. You already have to deal with customs anyways. Also, its never that bad if you have a passport. Also long term parking at Buffalo airport is $44 US per week i believe. What is it at the new terminal in Toronto again? Oh yeah $75 per DAY. |
hahaa, um no it's not, it's MAX $21.75/day. I know, I've done it. |

according to new laws in germany, this is called harassment and you can be fined and sued for that!
but it's no fun when ur driving a lil punto fiat, which ur flooring but won't move and there's some mean, big ass mercedes kissing your bumper and flashing the high beams ...agh! :whip: hihi!
malek ~ it was $120 for both ways. (mind you, i was also not driving normal speed limit...) |
