Finally, someone is getting the right idea. You people need to get over Tiesto and all the usual suspects. Give me some real talent like Infusion, Descent, Junkie XL, and Noel Sanger. |

i really dont get it
the title of the thread says best original producer
so why are people putting the likes of Ozgur Can in?
Sure, he's a great talent for the future, and its fantastic that the scene has up-and-coming guys like him pushing a fresh sound and a new perspective but surely you cannot argue he is the "Best Original Producer". If you were to take some time and construct a careful Top 20, he would not be anywhere near it.
I was listening to Paul van Dyk - 7 Ways today and it struck me how talented Paul van Dyk was. The fact his current output is not of the same high standard does not make him any less talented - just more lazy.
IMO the best 5 producers would have to be:
1. Paul van Dyk
2. Sasha
3. Oliver Lieb
4. Laurent Verronez
5. Hybrid or maybe Way Out West
There are many VERY talented producers coming through, some of the best being James Holden, Infusion etc but the "nu-breed" have some way to go before they can be compared to the above names.

i'd also like to mention someone else...tried to do so before but the server crashed at that time :o
Dibaba :D
never heard such unique productions as i have from this talented producer...i also remember one track (i'm pretty sure it's by him) played on J00f's Global Trance Grooves November 03' set, the track directly after Mike Hiratzka - Reach Out To Me (Fred Numf remix)...it's probably unreleased, but if anyone can ID it i'd be much obliged :) |

used to be. the new stuff is nowhere near as good as the older stuff
just compare the last 3 releases with beyond my control release, neverending melody release and forever young release. big difference in quality, with the except of the close to me (dj fire susnet mix) |
