DJM-600 Ground Screw

Does anyone know how the ground screw is set up in a DJM-600? The one on mine is stripped and I really need to get it fixed and I was wondering how labor intensive something like this is going to be.

having absolutly no knowledge of what the inside of a djm600 looks like, i will give you an educated guess..

the ground screw will possibly just be a bolt type thing with a washer and a fixing nut on the other side, with a wire soldered to it on the inside. in theory this shouldnt be too hard to replace using a bolt, washer and nut of your own if you have a soldering iron. if not you could probably rig something up using a bolt on both sides to hold the wires in.

if you have no warranty voiding worries, do some investigative surgery :)

it is pretty standard, as jeff says. only thing it has that ive seen different is that the washer is more like an in-turned cog with spiked teeth to grab the ground cables

I know this is wrong to do but...go to where you got it from and check out their display demo. Snatch it off of there, I've done it with a couple of knobs before.:D
