What is the multitimbrality & the polyphony of the exs24 mkii???

what does exs stand for? i think it might mean extreme sampler... but im not sure... and the 24 refers to? and i did a search and found that the mk stands for mark i think sooo mark ii? what does that mean?

does anyone know what these things mean for sure? and maybe a site that lists the entire specs of the exs24 mkii?? would be really helpful. thanks!!

This has already been answered thanks to Dj Thy... but I guess the database errors erased the posts that were in here....

hey Thy, if you have that link that you dropped the first time.. can you put it down again? thanks!

My guess is that E stands for Emagic and S für Sampler. Dunno what X and 24 stand for. Mark is another word for revision, version or edition. So mkII is the 2nd edition of EXS24, that differs for mkI but HP filters to name just one.

Multitimrality and polyphony should be limited only by your system performance.
