its 835 am and i just got home and i left my house at 9 pm now that is some hardcore clubbing. i have never gone to 4 clubs in one nite..... insane nite. my review will be a bit different based on the nites xtreme events
Ok, so i get to nerve first to get stamped and i have no clue whos on the decks but i see phillipio inside and so i go and take full advantage of the open bar and have 3 vodka cranberries
then chaflas and blondboheme show up and we all get stamped and we head out to crobar to get stamped. we leave phil in the car and myself, clem and renzo go in to get stamped. then we head to privilege
Privilege Review
- Just want to shout out to the MAN marcosdavolos for hookin me up on the list on such short notice. so the 4 of us head up to the patio up stairs. on the way there we stop and say hi to erik kittel (the local master of techy house ) who is spinning in the main room. we go upstairs and phil tells me its coolassleo spinning
we sit down and flip and tonie, and blendprod and mrsblendprod and digital7 are up there and we start to bs and talk for an hr or so.
Flip just say the word and ill hook u up with what u want
oh and digital7 using his modpowers played a skeery jedi mind trick on me saying hes gonna reset my post count to 0
oh this goes out to Patois(becky) flip appreciates ur awesome reviews big time and him and the mrs would like to hang with u sometime. ur reviews rock
so at 1220 we leave and go to Nerve.
Nerve REview
Jon is up on the decks and some pretty good prog is being pumped thru the system. Jon thanks again for everything. The crowd is a good size, better than Halo last week for sure. good vibe goin down. Nerve is doin it right. (next week we shall see what im doin.... if i do go out its to Nerve.... great lineup next week with Feelgood on fri and Joeski? on sat) around 120 or so chris fortier takes the decks.
Good set. though a bit too hard for me. lots of drums i felt the set was just ok. but i must say chris fortier is still the for me. his cds rock. great dj talent that jon is bringing in here. i just personally didnt feel the set it was just "Aight" (american idolspeak)
so we meet up with the beautiful miriam whos enjoying the set a great deal. we also see biz and his lovely girlfriend, and i got to meet Sammy from southside finally. Nice guy. hope to hear u spin one day soon. Also Matt Spector in da house as well always a pleasure to see matt. cant wait till ur return to nerve.
Also in the house is POD and Buster, Coach and his wife.
As im dancing with clem and miriam by the back speakers jon comes by and hands me a signed poster of chris fortier u da mannnnnn (what sucks is i left it in chaflas trunk LOL got to get it at space tomrorow dawg)
So around 230 or so. myself, miriam, renzo and clem head out to crobar. phil went home after nerve btw .
Crobar
-of course everyone is there for edgar v and edgar is tearin it up great to see all the regulars.
I just cant miss edgar at crobar even if i was there for half his set my streak lives on great to see katie, and arturo and harold and LOL buster again. (he was everywhere tonite )
edgar was bringing it really really hard. i liked some parts a lot but other parts i was it was too hard for me. everyone knows i like lots of vocals and not very hard stuff for too long. i found edgars set harder then normal and i know koky, chaflas and happface loved it. Edgar never disappoints great set.
I got to take some cute pics with miriam, clem and katie (cant wait to get em)
Stayed there till it closed. edgar stopped a bit too soon so they make him play one more song..TRACK OF THE NITE.......... HE CAME OUT WITH THE WILLIAM HUNG CD AND PLAYED SHEBANGS !!!!!
SOBE2003 OMFG U WOULD HAVE DIED !!!! i was jumpin like a mofo to that track so funny
so then i say to myself this let so to NV LOL . but first we dropped pod at his place
Trek to pods house
- pod lives like very close to where i used to live on the beach which is cool so myself, pod and miriam are in back and clem and renzo in front. we bs and just having fun in the car. drop him off
then we go back to nerve get my car and i go with clem to NV
NV
- as we pull in we see koky leaving NV. Renzo comes shortly after. ARdis thanks ur such a darling getting us inside as always
I must say overall my fav music of the nite was NV. that was some in sick tribal house OMFGGGG though i didnt stay long about 45 min it was awesome.. Good to see liz there and andrew chibale.
took more pics with ardis and clem awesome cant wait new background for my clock the atmosphere is really good at NV packed with people, VIP is packed, music is hardcore. fri nite afterhours at NV is the .. Oh and Leo was there dancing his ass off to
so we leave NV and stupid ass me in lala land exhausted starts driving home then im like WTF i got to go to Sobe and drop off clem LOL so i turn around drop her off and then stupid me on the way back i take the wrong exit and instead of goin on 826 i have to go down US1 ughhhhhhhhhhhhh
so here i am gonna go to bed till 6 pm or so then head out to space to hear trance god ferry corsten
had a kick ass nite want to thank my partners in crime. renzo, miriam, phil, Dan and of course Clem (MUAH) for makin it a fun and memorable nite
want to also thank of course the Jon and the nerve crew for always doin a great job and hookin us up each week as well as to marcos for puttting us on the list with such short notice and of course ardis for coming to the front door to get us at NV |
