I use the Battery for my drums, and the Redrum.. but after I upgraded from 512 to 1024MB RAM the Battery seems to be unstable, so I am thinking of switching sampler.. any suggestion for samplers that might be great for making drums?

I can't see a connection between an UPGRADE and why battery isn't working. Why not call up NI and ask why? ;). But anyways, Try reinstalling your crack.. err software. If that fails.. I'm all for RM IV.

| It sounds as if it's your RAM that's ed up, not Battery. Return it and get a replacement. |

| what brand of ram did u buy. Did u put 2 diff 512mb chips or just 1 1gb. Ram is ugly like that and can cause problems if they are different brands/mghz. |

I'm assuming you believe RAM never goes bad, works fine all the time, etc...
I had a bad stick of RAM and win2k kept crashing on me when I was doing the most menial tasks. |

yeah bad ram can f*ck everything up.
as for recommendations - I'm going for the RM-III or RM-IV. I would say RM-IV for sure but it doesn't seem to be quite as stable as the RM-III. I can't seem to change the default channel configuration without it crashing on me. Of course, there could be some other conflict in my setup that's causing the problem. Anyone else have this issue? |
