Can people stop pretending they have spoken to Gatecrasher staff about this and trying to make out they know everything that is going on.

Some incorrect, distruptive and unhelpful information has found it's way onto the board in the past 24 hours. If Gatecrasher has something to say then it will be Gatecrasher that says it, right here, on this message board. We don't need certain 'newbies' to mediate for us.

FOLLOWING THE RECENT TRAGIC EVENTS IN NEW YORK CITY, WE ARE SORRY TO HAVE TO INFORM YOU THAT PAUL VAN DYK WILL NO BE APPEARING AT GATECRASHER ON SATURDAY 15 SEPTEMBER 2001. THIS IS DUE TO THAT FACT THAT PAUL FEELS IT INAPPROPRIATE TO APPEAR AT THIS TIME AND OFFERS HIS DEEPEST SYMPATHY AND CONDOLENCES TO THE VICTIMS AND FAMILIES WHO LIVES HAVE BEEN FOREVER CHANGED BY THESE EVENTS.
WE AT GATECRASHER ECHO PAUL'S SENTIMENTS AND OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH EVERYBODY CONNECTED WITH THIS TRAGEDY.
GATECRASHER WILL CONTINUE THIS WEEKEND AND WILL DONATE THE WHOLE OF PAUL'S FEE ALONG WITH THE FEE'S OF HIS REPLACEMENT DJ'S, SCOTT BOND, MATT HARDWICK, EDDIE HALLIWELL AND ASHLEY CASSELLE, TO THE NEW YORK FIREFIGHTER MEMORIAL FUND.
GATECRASHER WOULD ASK IT'S EXTENDED FAMILY TO COME TO THE CLUB THIS WEEKEND TO SHOW IT'S SOLIDARITY IN THE FACE OF THIS GLOBAL TRAGEDY.

I am well beyond pissed off into a new realm of anger that I've never experienced before... I am waging a personal war on Paul Van ing Dyk for this.. I vow that if I ever see him again, I will kill him. with my bare hands.
I'm not being unsympathetic about what happened in new york, I just can't see what this has to do with it at all. I'm sure a minute's silence at midnight would have been a fitting sign of respect for the dead, but to not play at all? that's just stupid.
I'm off to hunt the bastard down.

i was ing right! what a blow to the system, ive been going on about this night for months. :mad:
ah well, tu_face you're not wrong pal, the replacements are good, its residents night once again, thats good enough for me, they all rock! and look on the bright side, we'll get a variety of styles this way, i'm not gonna let it ruin my night! don't worry goldenarmz, you'll get over it d00d! (in many years time!)

now we all know the real reason for PvD not bein there im sure goldenarmZ will take back his statement of death to him... and for those of u who don't know, he had 2 freinds die in the that went off... GC donated all proceeds + DJ fees to the new york firefighter memorial fund.. which is nice :)
cant complain one bit at the night anyways! it was in bangin!! if my head was a boiled egg.. ashley casselle tapped the top with his spoon, matt hardwick took the top off, eddie halliwell dipped his soldiers in and scott bond scooped out the white :D
my only complaint was that i didnt buy enough pills.. and when i came to wanting another my dealer had sold out :( so @ about 5 i found myself on the wrong side of a blue spekkled mitsu (which had already evenly spread my brain all over the club) so i was mongin by the end heheh
10 out of 10 gatecrasher! |
