Decided to put this up again as they have changed and added to the lineup. No Judge Jules anymore (thank god!) as they have replaced him with Marco V. The urban arena still sounds dodgy tho.

Can't help but wonder how you can judge him from a radio show??? I saw him Sunday night at Escape & as thats my local club i get to see him quite often. Never heard him play a bad set. He's also got a big following down here in Sth Wales, prob one of the reasons Escape were voted top UK trance club last year. (Yeah, i know it was only mixmag) Also voted best resident dj by radio 1 last year & opened at Creamfields Radio 1 outdoor stage. ......shocking really!

P.S Cosmic Gate been added to the EITP line-up aswell.

i don't see how you can't judge him from his radio show..

for instance i used to listen to jules on the radio and now i know never to pay money into a club to go and see him, simple really.

I've heard his radio show occasionally, he usually has a guest mix, recently ronski speed, gtr, john o'bir, & as i said i've heard a few sets from him at escape, they don't compare.
Like yourself i wouldn't pay to see julesy but i don't think i'd be knockin him if i hadn't seen him live. Seems i'd be relying on other peoples judgement rather than my own.

i've never seen jules live, but i know fine and well that i wouldn't enjoy his set. i think the music he plays is terrible and his mixing has gone downhill somewhat, I don't need to see him in person to realise that:)

Hmm, i've got news for you, his radio show in no way reflects what he plays in his live sets. Since you haven't seen him live i assume you're relying on someone else's opinion on which to base your own views.

I don't base my views on someone elses opinions, otherwise they are not my views.

the fact is I've heard his show a few times and his mixing has been diabolical, are you trying to tell me that he somehow manages to fix this for his live perfomances.

besides I don't like the commercial trance music he plays anyway.

I'm not into his radio show either & agree with you ref; crap mixin, however when i've seen him live he has been much better. Still has a habit of talkin & playin e cheesy trance in his sets though.
