I dont think its a pre judge here Chris, in my case ive experienced both clubs (and the crowds that are attracted to each) and i just feel Boa is a better venue for Danny T. Dont get me wrong, ive had GREAT nights at the Docks (Wintergalactic 2001 - Tiesto, Bittersweet - Misstress Barbara, Dj Dan) but nothing comes close to Boa for a true afterhours experience. Im sure the renos to The Docks have improved the club a great deal, but the way its being promoted and the dj's on the "grand opening" night seem to be trying to appeal to a different crowd than what ive become accustomed to. |

I'm not pre-judging.
I think I can safely say that most DJs I would rather hear at boa than anywhere else in the city.
(nevermind that the docks is frick'n FAR!)
I'm going to go hear Derick Carter tonight, and probably think the entire time how much better his set could be if you could hear it properly.
