May 5 - KENNY GLASGOW & SATORI - Activate Wed's @ Joe
ACTIVATE WEDNESDAYS
Starting this week Activate Wednesday will now be taking place inside Joe Nightclub in the heart of the entertainment district. While were sad to lose our home for the last 9 months, we are very excited in what the future holds for Activate Wednesday. Without missing a beat we will back as normal this week, and as a thank you to everyone that has supported in the past 9 months, there will be NO COVER UNTIL MIDNIGHT. For those of you not fmiliar with Joe, we will be basing our night on the 1st floor. This floor is slightly larger then element, has better sound and lights, clean washrooms and a very similar atmosphere... and as for beverages, same deal as always ... and then there's that other thing.... the ROOF TOP PATIO!.

For those that have never been to Joe here's a little peak.
This first pick is of the first floor where we will be basing out night. The room has been renovated since this pick was taken. there is now a large dance floor where the seating is in the picture. there is a lounge area on the sound end of this floor and the DJ booth is on the north end.
There are also a few nights planned when we will be moving the party to the top floor which is pictured here.
and of course there is the roof top patio... We don't have a picture of it at this time but mark my words it is incredible. The nights spent rocking out on this patio will definitely be legendary.
and as mentioned before there will be NO COVER BEFORE MIDNIGHT FOR MAY 5TH |

Glad to see Activate found a new venue... great talent up at those parties!!! WHY JOE's tho :( ugh.... might come out in support anyhow :P may 5th is my last exam

joe. is a geat venue with a great sound system and lights. The venue has been renvoted not too long ago and offers a spacious yet intimate setting for our night. Not only do we have a great room, but we can now offer a roof top patio overlooking the club district and most of the city. And yes...the patio will have sound! |

wish i coudl make it out for this- nice lineup- it's too bad i work out of town and can't make it in midweek :(
joe looks nice from the pics, much nicer than it's hideously painted exterior would suggest. glad to see activate wednesdays are continuing :) |

Wow... didn't see that last time i was there... plus it was crap hop night (i love hip hop, but Joe hip hop suxors my ballzors). I think i'm gonna make it out tonight, + a couple... gotta check out that patio!!! On the other hand... i might need to save the energy for zabiela... aww feck it

We checked it out and had meetings before we proceeded with the venue. Not only does it have a great patio, but the sound system sounds amazing.........and it won't be hip hip on wenesday's...not that there's anything wrong with that :) |
