Finally got roudn to buying a midi keyboard of e-bay, however I did not check to see if my sound card had a midi port.
I've got a Sound Blaster Audigy 2, and it hasnt got a midi port.
The only outputs on the keyboard is midi.
Does any1 have any ideas to how I can establish a connection between my PC and my keyboard?
Special Lead, extra piece of kit etc.
Cheers. |

Yeah you can either buy the adapter or buy a USB to Midi interface. The USB version is kinda laggy at times but it works. |

Cheers Alanzo, but unfortunately my sound card doesn't have a game port either.

damn.. what a crappy sound card :p
before you invest in a MIDI keyboard, I would say you should get a new sound card since I doubt that audigy has ASIO support. |
