Leaving records on your tables...

I was just curious if it is bad to leave your records on your turntables while you arent playing them...
I left the records I was playing last on the turntables (with the covers on the turntables) while I took a 30 minute shower, and my boyfriend told me that this warps the records and is really bad for your records. I was wondering exactly how bad that is, because i've never heard that before...

hes a bit mixed up with this one. its bad to stack records but one left on a turntable for 30 mins will do nothing. even if you left it for a month, year, decade it would not do anything. even without the covers all that would happen is they would get dusty. |
