Can't freaking wait for the news. Capcom's booth really interests me with Devil May Cry 3 and Rockman X: Command Mission :)

Also... I wish I could attend that Final Fantasy Concerto, a day before E3. A full orchestra playing classic Final Fantasy tunes? Now THAT'S class. Hope it's recorded and distributed on the net.

That's a 9800 and, yes, it's the fastest video card on the planet. Got it in one of my son's computers with a 3.2 Intel, which BTW is still the fastest processor on the planet despite what AMD would lead you to believe. And believe me, I got an AMD 3000+ platform on another of my computers.

ok smokeape you dont have a clue sorry

and about e3 :

source gamespot
#1: At E3, Sega will announce it is getting back into the console business.

Source: An e-mail blast inviting press to Sega's "mystery event" at E3.

The official story: "Sega cannot comment on rumors relating to its exclusive press event on day one of E3. Sega remains excited about its powerful lineup of yet-to-be-announced titles."--Sega spokesperson.

What we heard: Ever since Dreamcast production ceased in 2001, the console's diehard fans have held out hope that it would rise from the ashes. This week, hope came in the form of a one-paragraph press invitation to Sega's E3 presentation. "Learn about SEGA's 2004 lineup and hear BIG news you'd NEVER guess," read the invite, which promised "explosive news--something even YOU won't be able to guess!" (Emphasis in the original.) Within minutes, Sega loyalists were churning out messianic predictions of a new and improved Dreamcast. "Financially revitalized, finally debt-free, Sega now firmly believes it has what it takes to rule the roost," read one. But before you break out the straightjackets, consider this: Amusement-machine giant Sammy is Sega's majority stockholder, and its president, Hajime Satomi, is Sega's chairman. This year, Sammy's new Atomiswave arcade platform will replace the veteran NeoGeo format. The NeoGeo also came in a home console version, which had a customer base fanatical enough to shell out hundreds of dollars per game--in other words, a proven (if small) market. The Atomiswave's hardware is even more compact than the NeoGeo's. Sammy has announced that Sega will focus on developing games for the
****Atomiswave****. Could Sega's big announcement be a new, Sega-branded home console based on the Atomiswave? It could be, but it would be sort of redundant, because the Atomiswave is already based on Dreamcast hardware.

x800 is the new ati card
every major hardware site is reviewing them since today (4th of may that is) because the had NDA with ati
and the 3.2 intel extreme edition is a joke the fastest fx is still better
and lets not compare the 2500+ barton (which is actually one 1833mhz chip) to the 2.4 intel p4 (or better yet lets compare mhz to mhz:))

Hahhaha! Greatest debacle of all time. AMD released the AMD 64 back at the end of September to take advantage of a Windows 64 bit file system which has yet to be released! Yeah, like I really want to invest in something that might not work... Intel has the inside scam and chips on the shelf to smoke AMD, and take advantage of 64 bit file systems as well, but doesn't need to release them before the actual operating system is released. Intel still beats AMD hands down in clock speed despite the 3400+ nomenclature AMD uses which falsely advertises its product as clocking 3.4 G speed when it never comes close. The true chip leader will emerge with the emergence of the Windows 2004 (or maybe now the Windows 2005) system which will incorporate the 64 bit file system.
And I don't stand corrected. The Radeon 9800 is still the fastest video card on the planet. And you pay for it at $400+. OUch...

Right now, the enemy is Microsoft's XBOX Team and console.
