Is it worth buying the artist album that came out from TasteXperience? I like Summersault a lot, but I don't know any of the other tunes.

off topic but is THIS the same highlander oakie played in his china essential mix? i only ask because this was released in 2002, and as we all know the EM was in 99

'Tantrix' was the opening tune on Tiesto's ISOS 2

Nice tune, very chilled, however i'm not sure it's on the album.

Yes Oakey plays the Original Mix of the tune, which I think is the only good one.

A lot of the tracks are downtempo. Herb Boy, Magic Tribe and Soul Good, for example, feature on the Flower Island EP and are real loungey, laidback tunes. Then there's the trancey tracks, Highlander, Summersault and Tantrix, which are classics. I haven't heard the remaining tracks (although I'd believe they're largely downtempo) but for me those six make it worth the price already. If you liked the FI EP I'd say it's a safe bet, if not try to sample the album first. Personally I'm going to pick it up as soon as I get around to it.

Yes I have that vinyl, it's exactly the same.

Tantrix alone is worth the price, pure bliss. Not listened properly to the album yet, but all the trance tunes on it are classics in my book, and the original mix of Highlander beats all the remixes to bloody pulps.

So Tantrix is on the album then? I can't believe it didn't get a proper release, it's really quite magical.
