| I gotta take the day off of work tomorrow just so some dude in a green suit can poke me with a needle. Damn that sux. Does anyone else here hate needles. If so what do you do to keep yourself from being frightened as the doc. shoots ya? |

Ya, i hate the needle too. I feel your pain buddy... The thing that annoys me most is the fact that during the 50s when castro took over Cuba, the CIA wanted to try to assassinate him, with a pen that contained cynide. The tip of the pen was the injection point, which was only several atoms in diameter. If the plan had worked out, castro WOULDNT FEEL A THING... yet, the guys at the hospital use needles as thick as pine trees...

Go down fighting.
Last time I was concious and got a needle was for a Rubella shot when I was 12, it took my aunty and a nurse to hold me down after I kicked the doctor. Just to be spiteful she stuck the needle in my bum instead of an arm, which hurt a lot.
I cant imagine going willingly to get an injection. |

err, ya i don't think many people like getting injections :p:p:p
small ones aren't bad, but them big ones like tetnis (sp?) suck...and also when they have to take blood :(:(:(!!!

I used to mind..not anymore tho.
buy yeah, the bigger the muscle they poke up in, like ass over arm, the more it hurts!(or so it has always been for me)
but needles dont bother me. I got my menigitis shot, had 4 vials of blood drawn for testing...my trick is to know when its coming.that way it isnt a schock...so i dont get startled, tense up and have it hurt my arm! |
