Liquid Adrenaline (Time Warp?) in August 2000 had a 4 hour line to get in, police everywhere, helicopters, no line control to get inside, so I listened to jungle all night outside. Not bad once there, but I wanted the variety. |
ahahaha .. you were there too ?? i wouldn't say more RAMMED, but by far one of the WORST parties evar! i waited 3 hours in line to get in!! missed 1/2 of the headliners by the time we were unleashed..

I attended raves (chemestry) and asian clubs (casa blanca)around the same time, 1994
Hands down the music is a lot better as a raver but the majority of my friends go to clubs; therefore i do have a lot of fun there too.
the largest event that i could remember would be between Run DMC, hyperactive or freekin 99
There were sooooo many but if i had to choose, Daft Punk at hyperactive
They were all good
labour of love first year i think |

I don't know about the inside because I didn't get in until 5:30 or so; it was an overheated sketchpad in there.
Remember the cone of people trying to get from the jungle tent to the inside? |

A) What was the year you started the scene and were you a RAVER or CLUBBER?
clubber. pre-1997 i was a house head junkie; after 1997, trance and prog.
B) If you were a RAVER to start with, what do you like more ... the raves or the club scene?
raves were what we did before, we club nowadays.
C) What was the largest party you ever attended in Toronto?
it would have to be at the better living centre. not sure how many people though. freakin? connected?
D) If you had a choice to go back in time, would you?
nope.
E) Which major HEADLINER was your personal favorite?
oakenfold @ pacha in ibiza.
F) Within' your first year, which event was the worst event you EVER attended?
wemf @ christian island. don't get me wrong, i had a blast. but dancing on sand and blowing soot out of your nose afterwards wasn't exactly the best...
E) Most RAMMED event ever!!!
creamfields.
in toronto, i was surprised at the turnout for sasha & digweed's delta heavy tour. but yeah, that last frankie bones/bbb party at the WAREHOUSE was craziness... there was a third headliner that day; can't remember who it was though...john? |

A) What was the year you started the scene and were you a RAVER or CLUBBER?
I can't remember the year but i started waaaaay back with Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Paul Oakenfold, etc. I was neither, I was waaaay too young :P . But I started off as a clubber
C) What was the largest party you ever attended in Toronto?
Nothing bigger than your average Guv all access events.
D) If you had a choice to go back in time, would you?
Definately. I was too young to experience the NYC Twilo days, or the rave scene in Toronto. The scene is awesome in Toronto right now, but I would still like to have experienced the 90s.
E) Which major HEADLINER was your personal favorite?
Steve Lawler bar none
F) Within' your first year, which event was the worst event you EVER attended?
Definately Marco Carolo & Danilo Vigorito in the basement apartment (club) called Surface.
E) Most RAMMED event ever!!!
Plastikman @ System January 30th 2004!!!!!
You couldn't even get passed the deejay booth |

A) What was the year you started the scene and were you a RAVER or CLUBBER?
December 2001.... I'd consider myself a raver, since I could only go to raves that were mostly under 19 aged. I hit lots of Destiny parties and I probabaly became a clubber once I turned 19, and went to System Soundbar for my first TAi.
B) If you were a RAVER to start with, what do you like more ... the raves or the club scene?
right now I like the club scene more, but since there haven't been any appealing raves recently, it's unfair to guage.
C) What was the largest party you ever attended in Toronto?
I guess the largest would have to be Decadence... biggest party I've ever been to.
D) If you had a choice to go back in time, would you?
For reasons other than clubbing/rave life... yes. SO to answer the question relevantly... no.
E) Which major HEADLINER was your personal favorite?
Rank 1, or maybe Ronald Van Geldren
F) Within' your first year, which event was the worst event you EVER attended?
I was pretty choosy, I never really had a worst nite.
E) Most RAMMED event ever!!!
Ferry Corsten @ guv. |

| i don't feel like i really fit in anywhere, i used to be into the scene back in 94 or so (i used to love my rodderdam :P), but I never really felt like part of the rave scene...i don't really feel like a clubber either...although I probably look more like one... I guess i feel like more of a party misfit than anything. |
